Our main objective is to help Africa’s underserved communities improve livelihood through technology and entrepreneurship. The Africa Centurion Initiative, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered in Kenya.

Kids Comp Camp

From typing to coding, Kids Comp Camp helps Africa’s underserved children access to quality computing training, empowering them to explore new opportunities in technology. Designed to travel and camp in a local community; Kids Comp Camp partners with local institutions to run after school computer tech programs. Since inception in 2014, Kids Comp Camp and partners have reached out to more than 6500 Kids in 10 counties in Kenya, 90% of the trained kids this was their first time to use a computer and 54% were girls.

To sustain the impact of Kids Comp Camp in a community, we train the wider community (Parents, Teachers & Youth) on digital and entrepreneurial skills to be better equipped to support the Kids as well as enhance their own livelihood by exploring employment, entrepreneurship, and career path opportunities in the digital economy.
